This is what I did last week...
This past week I was working with 16 other Regent law students for The Pro Bono Project in New Orleans, Louisiana. This picture was taken during a tour we were given in a neighborhood that was near the levy that broke and flooded the whole area causing much devastating and destruction. Even 9 months after Katrina, New Orleans is struggling to get back on its feet. On the way in, I saw whole apartment complexes and neighborhoods abandoned. Houses were missing their roofs, and some were completely collapsed. There is still a lot to be done, but city is hopeful and slowly rebuilding.
